Poynter Institute
Poynter covers local news transformation through its website and a weekly newsletter, Local Edition. Poynter also trains hundreds of organizations through other transformation programs, including the Editorial Integrity and Leadership Initiative, Digital Transformation Program, Transforming Local Crime Reporting Into Public Safety Journalism and multiple academies and fellowships.
Cronkite News Lab
The Cronkite News Lab was focused on innovation and transformation in local TV News. The Lab published case studies showcasing ‘better practices’ from local TV newsrooms across the country as well as experiments by ASU Cronkite School of Journalism student journalists. The case studies focus on broadcast, digital trends, management and technology.
Maynard Institute
The Robert C. Maynard Institute for Journalism Education is the nation’s oldest organization dedicated to helping the news media accurately portray all segments of society, particularly those often overlooked, such as communities of color.
